Hypomagnesemia because of nedaplatin for cervical cancer: A case report

A 76-year-old woman with cervical cancer was treated nedaplatin, a platinum-based drug. After the initiation of treatment, she became aware numbness, dizziness, and loss appetite. Exploration causes revealed no clues, but blood tests hypocalcemia hypomagnesemia. She intravenous calcium magnesium, which resolved calcium, magnesium levels, her symptoms. diagnosed hypomagnesemia because nedaplatin. Regular follow-up is necessary for patients during or after Awareness electrolyte disturbances may elucidate accurate diagnosis even in obscure symptoms, particular undergoing following anticancer therapies.
